Having a family gives an artist a wonderful opportunity and an endless collection of photographs that can be used for reference materials for paintings. While I am exploring this new art form, the possibilities are just endless. I am not sure how far I am going to go with this, but so far, it’s been a lot of fun.
The three men in the paintings all have the same grandfather. Can you see it? Hm. Sounds like I need to paint their grandfather too!

Dear Mimi, for several weeks, I’ve been away from posting and reading and commenting on blogs. I posted this past Wednesday and now I’m catching up with other bloggers. And this evening I came here and find that you are doing a totally new kind of art. I went back over the past several postings here and read about this art form that you learned from the Seattle artist. I really like it!!!! Peace.
