One of the most exciting part of my new life as an artist is that people want me to paint their faces. This lovely lady asked me to do just that. I was able to capture her graceful countenance and produce a family heirloom for her as well.

The Jive Cats
Inspired by a beautiful photograph taken by Russell Lee for the Farm Security Administration in 1938, I painted this as a companion piece to “He sure can play that guitar” This painting was sold and will be living in Athens, Georgia with two of my dearest friends.

Pulcinella Pronto
Pulcinella, like most sports fans, loves the Giro d’Italia. Â What he can’t understand is why no one is sponsoring him for their team. He clearly has a nice bike and he’s ready to ride. This is my second in a series of Pulcinella paintings, it’s 7.5″ x 11″
