Tom, my younger son, had perfect vision for years, but according to his eye doctor, he has spent too many hours reading books and staring at a computer monitor. He loves his new glasses, he is pleased with all the beauty that surrounds him that he could not see before. He graciously allowed me to sketch him while he stared at the crackling fire in my fireplace. I am running out of “victims” so I suppose I will find more historical personages to add to my collection.
