Occasionally I paint a real place. This is a lookout near the highest point in Jefferson Park, on Beacon Hill in Seattle. This is the perfect place to park your bike so that you can look out behind it and see the skyline or the sunset, whichever is more illuminated at the moment. This is a place my husband and I stopped at often, on our bikes. It’s a fun park to be in.
THis is an 11″ x 15″ original watercolor and it’s for sale, $300.00.

Great painting Mimi; very evocative and moody, like an autumn’s day.
Charming work! Thanks for the note – glad to hear where one of my postcards arrived 🙂
I love your bike paintings! They seem to have a story wrapped up in the way they lean against a wall… You are so talented.
Dear Mimi, evocative as usual. Peace.
